Graham is the Founding dentist at Jervois Dental.
After Graduation from Otago University in 1985, he spent a year as dental house surgeon at Christchurch hospital. At the completion of that year he travelled to the UK for the typical Kiwi OE. Based in London and working in Sloane Square at a private practice, he mixed work and travel for a few years, but the New Zealand lifestyle drew him home again.
After a few years in a practice in Northcote, he looked for a suitable location for a dental practice in Herne Bay. After securing a lease on the current premises, he opened the doors for the first time on 23 May 1996. His first patient was a veneer case, and the venture was off on a roll.
Initially only the front half of the house was used for the surgery, with the back half being sub-let as a 2 bedroom flat. As the practice built, more space was needed, and after gaining council consent the rest of the house was converted and a full refurbishment was carried out in 2003.
Graham's passion for dentistry has led him to create a boutique practice with very high standard of technology and a commitment to excellence. He strives to stay at the cutting edge of techniques and technology. The benefits for the patients are phenomenal and the benefits for Graham are that he gets to preform the type of dentistry that he loves.
Away from the surgery Graham has two gorgeous kids Phoebe 16, and Vinnie 13. They both attend Western Springs College
