Christine Phillips left school at 16 to become a dental assistant and has never looked back! She loved it then and loves it just as much now.
During her 30+ years in the job she’s worked as both assistant and receptionist, with time off to travel and to have a family.
Christine (Chrissy) has worked with just a small number of dentists over the years, each of them teaching her new and interesting skills. In contrast, she has encountered many different clientele and says it’s a pleasure to look after their diverse wants and needs.
Chrissy describes herself as enthusiastic, hard-working and loves to learn new skills. She has her NZDA certificate, advanced first aid certificate, and is a graduate of the IV sedation monitoring course.
Chrissy has a real passion for her job and enjoys meeting and helping people. Outside of work it’s family, reading and fitness that give her a great work-life balance.
